Departments overview
Departments help you mirror your org chart inside Wibby so approvals and reporting stay organized.
What you can do
- Create as many departments as you need.
- Assign default approvers for each department.
- Map unique policies or locations to specific teams.
Adding departments
- Navigate to Settings → Departments.
- Select Add Department.
- Enter a name, description, and optional color tag.
- Choose default approvers and save.
Assigning employees
- When adding or editing an employee, pick the correct department in the Job information section.
- Bulk-update teams by exporting, editing the CSV, and re-importing.
Reporting
- Filter dashboards by department to view coverage gaps.
- Compare utilization rates across teams to plan hiring.
