Users & roles

Wibby supports three core roles plus optional custom permissions for advanced setups.

Roles at a glance

  • Admin – Full access to all settings, billing, and approvals.
  • Manager – Approves requests for their team and views relevant reports.
  • Employee – Requests leave, views balances, and manages their own profile.

Changing roles

  1. Go to People → Employees.
  2. Select an employee and choose Edit.
  3. In the Access section, pick the new role.
  4. Save to apply immediately.

Custom permissions

Use permission overrides to grant elevated access without making someone an admin. Typical examples:

  • Allow finance analysts to view billing pages.
  • Permit HR business partners to edit policies but not billing.

Audit logging

  • All role changes appear in the audit log.
  • Export logs for compliance reviews.
