Users & roles
Wibby supports three core roles plus optional custom permissions for advanced setups.
Roles at a glance
- Admin – Full access to all settings, billing, and approvals.
- Manager – Approves requests for their team and views relevant reports.
- Employee – Requests leave, views balances, and manages their own profile.
Changing roles
- Go to People → Employees.
- Select an employee and choose Edit.
- In the Access section, pick the new role.
- Save to apply immediately.
Custom permissions
Use permission overrides to grant elevated access without making someone an admin. Typical examples:
- Allow finance analysts to view billing pages.
- Permit HR business partners to edit policies but not billing.
Audit logging
- All role changes appear in the audit log.
- Export logs for compliance reviews.
